MUSLİM BROTHERHOOD - AFTER 1960s

In 1970, Anwar Sadat became a president of Egypt and he was known as a close friend of the big devil the USA. Until his presidence Egypt had always been fought with Israel for Palestine however Sadat tried to find a middle road with Israel and it would be the end of the begining for him. In 1978, he signed the Camp David treaty with Israel government in the USA. According to that treaty the seventy perccentage( %78 )of Palestine had been given to Israel and the Sina peninsula given to Egypt. Of course that action caused the extremely huge hostility against to Anwar Sadat. As a conclusion on 6 October in 1981 he was killed by the member of Brotherhood Khalid Islambouli at the centre of Cairo.

And after that the organization was probihited and members were banished from Egypt. Hosni Mubarek in power. In 2005 brothers had won 88 chairs as a free candidates from the assembly in the first free elections. Nevertheless, in 2008 they were prohibited again by the Mubarek government.

SAYYID QUTB - A MUJAHİD OF NEW ISLAM

        I am gonna give a brief information about his life and actions. Before the information I would like suggest the book of  the''Signpots or Milestones'' for all of you for understanding of radical Islam.
            
            Sayyid Qutb was born on 9 October in 1906. His father was a landowner and the family estate's administrator however he was also well known for his political activism. From 1948 40 1950 he went to the USA for education and his ideology had been shaped there. He was a educator, author, Islamic theorist and he published the book of Signpots in 1964. That book called one of the most influential works in Arabic world in the last century. His ''Jihad'' ideology and Jihad ways were identified in that book. The most crucial issue about that book became an inspiration source for Al Qaeda and other radical Islamic terrorist groups. 

      In 1966 he was executed by Nasır Government.
