MUSLIM BROTHERHOOD - THE MOVEMENT IS ON

                As I said in the foundation article, the Palestine problem was a crucial issue for Muslim world because of Jarulsalem's importance. After the collapsing of Ottoman Empire, Jews migration had been started increasingly day on day. Due tothis reason Hasan El Benna went to Palestine for establishing the branch of the Brotherhood in 1935. At the same year Muhammad Emin El-Huseyni was selected as a leader of Palestine brothers. He was a officer of Ottoman Army in the Dardanelles War in 1915. He is called as a pioneer of National Movement of Palestine and had tried to deny sale of properties to Jews. In the Second World War time El-Huseyni supposed to the Hitler propagandas which were against the Jews and met him in Berlin in 1941.

     In the following years 40 branches of the Muslim Btorherhood were established. Number of members year on year ;

* 1936---- 800
* 1938---- 200.000
* 1948---- 500.000

Furthermore, Brother did not just establish the branches they also founded hospitals, factories, schools and mosques. By that way Brother's propaganda had been reached millions of Muslim easily.

                                        Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt

               As I mentioned above the number of Brothers had reached to 500.000 and that was horrible score for a new organization. Government of Egypt was started to disturbed by the growing of the MB. In 1948 Brothers attempted to assasinate to president of Eygpt Mahmod Nukrashi Pasha and they killed him. We can say that was the first terrorist action of the Brothers. At the same year, the martial law was proclaimed and the movement prohibited in Egypt and the founder of Brotherhood El Benna was killed by police in Cairo as a reprisal by government. 

         In 1952, The Egypt monarchy was demolished by the ''Free Officers'' called as a 23 July Revolution. In fact, the Brothers had supposed the officers however the new government that was set by revolutionarists wanted to establishing the new secular constitution. Of course the Brothers started to demonstrations against the new government and the movement was prohibited and the leaders of movement were banished to Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Lebanon and Syria and many of them were put in jail for many years. 

        In 1966, they had planned a new conspiracy against to Nasır ( called as a socialist Nasır, he was very closed to the USSR at the Cold War ) however they had failed and three leaders of Brother were hanged by the oder of president Nasır. One of them Sayyid Qutb.
